Hello Blog!

Well here it is, my very own blog. Hopefully I can work out how to use it!
In 12 days now I'm off to Kenya, for 16 weeks to volunteer with an organisation call ACTS Africa. I'll be living over 2,000 ft higher than Ben Nevis, in a little town called Limuru, about 30km north of Nairobi! Right now though it's snowing again and the whole thing seems very distant!
